About the job 

As Head of Business Process Optimization, you will be responsible for building and maintaining our capability to develop, implement, and continuously improve business processes. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for streamlining processes, reducing waste, and maximizing customer satisfaction and productivity. This role requires strategic thinking, a deep understanding of process improvement methodologies, and the ability to lead change within a complex organization.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Strategic Direction and Governance: Provide strategic direction for business process optimization, establishing governance structures and decision-making frameworks. Develop change management strategies to support the adoption of optimized processes and address potential resistance. Additionally, identify potential risks and barriers to successful process optimization, and develop as well as implement mitigation strategies.
  • Process Capability Development and Maintenance: Develop and implement frameworks, methodologies and tools to systematically identify, evaluate, and optimize business processes. Build organizational capabilities and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Knowledge sharing and collaboration: Facilitate collaboration among teams and cross-functional groups to share best practices, lessons learned, success stories and improvement ideas related to process optimization.
  • Technology enablement: Identify and leverage technology solutions, tools and platforms to enhance process optimization, including process mapping software, workflow automation tools, and data analytics platforms.
  • Leadership and Management: Lead employees by continuously striving for high engagement and a high-performing team. Communicate strategic direction, drive talent management, and maintain a high level of employee satisfaction and open feedback culture.
  • Other tasks/activities related to Management groups: Participate in strategic business meetings, contributing to setting the direction and performance of the company. Spotting opportunities across functions etc.

 

Who are you?

We expect you to have a relevant educational background within business or a similar field, along with a minimum of five years of proven experience in business process optimization, preferably within a complex organization. You should demonstrate a strong understanding of improvement methodologies such as Lean. Additionally, you should have a successful track record of developing and implementing business process optimization strategies, as well as leading process improvement projects that result in measurable efficiency gains and cost savings.

 

In addition, your professional competencies include:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets
  • Proficiency in project management with the ability to manage large-scale and cross-functional project.
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies in business process automation and data analytics
  • Strong communication skills, with fluency in English and the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
  • Experienced leader

The business process optimization team is a small team of 4 skilled and motivated specialists. We work across the entire Orifarm value chain and therefore have daily contact with many stakeholders across the organization.

Job Location

Odense min. 3 days/week for this first year - with opportunity to work from home according to our working from home policy.
